wagamama summer rolls – these are a new addition to their menu – and they are Vegan and Yummy, with a sweet chilli dipping sauce. These are fresh and not deep fried.

I found that Asda make a Vegetarian multivitamin which also happens to be Vegan.
It contains the following
Vitamin D2 5 μg, Vitamin B2 1.6 mg, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid 200μg, Vitamin B12 4μg, Calcium 133.3 mg, Iron 12 mg, Zinc 7 mg, Copper 0.6 mg. So overall the only area that it is light is Calcium at 16% RDA.
A bargain at £2.11 for 90 tablets.
Also following on from the after eights post, Asda have their own brand which do not contain dairy but might contain traces at £1 – and they are not that bad!

I went to wagamama the otherday in Camden and they were extremely helpful with selecting a Vegan dish. My favourite option (as a vegetarian) was Yasai Chilli Men, there is just a small change that you need to request which is either rice noodles, udon noodles or rice – see below number 51.
Their are many other options as well but most with small changes that you need to request.
~Enjoy

Fanta and Lilt are both un-suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans due to containing fish!

This seems to be an urban myth that After Eights are Vegan, and it needs to be corrected! After Eights contain butterfat and therefore cannot be Vegan. They used to not contain butterfat, but now as they do sadly they are no longer Vegan. Please contact Nestle and complain as it is an un-necessary ingredient.
As many vegetarians know, yet some may not, many Wines are not suitable for Vegetarians due to animal parts being used in the manufacturing of them. The same goes for many beers. The most common unsuitable ingredient is called isinglass comes from fish swim bladders, others are gelatine and egg albumin. If you are looking for clearly labeled wines, Sainsbury’s and the co-op label their own branded wines vegan. If you are looking for a place to buy a variety of Vegan wines try http://www.vinceremos.co.uk/ or http://www.vintageroots.co.uk/
I have been a lifelong vegetarian, but I am taking the Vegan pledge for March with The Vegan Society – It is something that I have always wanted to try and this is a great opportunity to try an animal free diet.
The foods that I will really miss are Pizza, Eggs and Cheese in general. I have recently been to a Saf a vegan restaurant in East London that served Cashew nut cheese, which not only tasted good but made me see that the flavour of Cheese does not need to be added to dairy alone, and it can still taste good. I am yet to try vegan mozzarella cheese on a Pizza but I will post my findings here in the near future.
No Alcohol, no weed, no cigarettes no E’s,
No milk, no cheese,
No eggs, No meat,
Just meditation and peace,
Red lentils, chick peas,
Good workout, Good sleep,
More sunshine light breeze.
